Directions for Charles Hill Sports Complex
The Club’s training facility is ideally situated between Nottingham and Derby and is easily accessible.
From Pentagon Island take the A61 signposted Heanor/Morley.
At the first roundabout take a left turn to bring you past the Rollerworld centre.
Continue on this road for approximately 6 miles, passing through Oakwood, Morley and Smalley until you enter Heanor.
At the end of this road you will reach a roundabout with a Tesco supermarket on it. Take the exit after the one for the supermarket.
Continue on this road for approximately half a mile, passing the Kwik Fit garage on your right.
Over the brow of the next small hill you will see a sign for Charles Hill. Take the next left signposted Flamstead Avenue. The entrance to the complex is 200 yards on the left and set back from the road.
From the town centre head for the Sainsbury’s roundabout and take the exit marked Codnor/Loscoe/Heanor. Continue on this road for approximately 3 miles, straight on through the traffic lights at Codnor.
You will pass a pub called The Gate on your right hand side, the turning for Flamstead Avenue is approximately 500 yards after this, also on your right.
The entrance to the complex is 200 yards on the left and set back from the road.
Take the A610 from Nottingham and follow this for approximately 6 miles until the road forks. Take the right hand lane signposted Codnor. Follow this road to the end and turn left at the junction, signposted Heanor. You will reach The Gate pub after 1 mile and then follow directions as per from Ripley.
