Easter Star:track
The highly successful Norwich Union-sponsored athletics scheme 'Star:track' is being held this Easter holiday for the first time in our area. The 2-day course is for kids aged 8 - 14 being held at AVAC's training base, the Rutland Sports Park, Ilkeston on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th April.
Encompassing athletics coaching, games and competitions, it's also a chance for kids to try new activities, make new friends and have lots of fun during the school holiday. They'll even know the coaches as being familiar faces from club sessions.
Star:track is for all abilities - complete beginers to those already enjoying athletics regularly. The course costs £17 for 2 full days (10am - 3.30pm) and this includes a Star:track goodie bag containing a T-shirt amongst other items.
